FINDING DEMO EP
Vazon are a heavy-hitting, two-piece rock/metal band that channels raw emotion and intense power through their dirty, distorted tones. Their upcoming EP, Finding Demo EP, explores the harrowing themes of alcohol abuse and its devastating effects, both on the individual and those around them. With each track, the band delves into personal struggle, inner turmoil, and the search for redemption, weaving a sonic tapestry that is as aggressive as it is cathartic.
The Finding Demo EP is a blistering collection of four tracks that reflect Vazon's unflinching commitment to confronting uncomfortable truths. The EP opens with “Back Out,” a searing anthem providing an insight to the mellow trauma and sudden realisation of addiction, followed by “Black Halo Spirit,” where distorted riffs and thunderous drums mirror the dark grip of addiction. “All You Ever Say” is a gut-wrenching examination of broken communication and the pain of empty promises, while “VZN” closes the EP with a relentless explosion of energy, leaving listeners with a sense of haunting reflection.
Vazon's sound is a relentless fusion of heavy alternative rock and metal, with a raw intensity that captures the angst and frustration of their thematic focus. The band’s stripped-down two-piece approach allows every note, every beat, to hit with maximum impact, creating a visceral listening experience that lingers long after the final track ends.
Finding Demo EP is a bold and unapologetic journey through the darkness, showcasing Vazon's ability to tackle difficult subject matter with authenticity and intensity. This is an EP that doesn’t shy away from the shadows—it invites listeners to stare them down.
THE FIRST SINGLE
BLACK HALO SPIRIT
Vazon reveal their first single ‘Black Halo Spirit’ by establishing their heavy rock tones through an earthquake-esque guitar tone and hyper drums. Black Halo Spirit represents the not-so blatant divide between tough thoughts and a mind’s “happy place”, helping understand that it’s so easy for one’s mental state to change so quickly. The dirty guitar tones are uplifted by the bass to power through the song, with a rush of fast paced electric drums given by Aiden Greasley to reflect the hyper mentality of the lyrics.
